Avoid reselling content a fan already owns
Understand duplicate groups and the limits of purchase matching.
Step by step
- Identical local file bytes are grouped within the creator. Use the duplicate scan for older uploads when available.
- An owner or manager can link alternate versions manually when the same content has been edited or re-encoded.
- When a verified purchase is matched to a media group, Godeem marks its matching copies as bought for that fan.
- Review any unknown purchase status before offering content. A lack of imported purchase history is not evidence of a new sale opportunity.
